Thanks, and thanks to everyone else. I guess I can’t reply to you all at once.

I think I upset my flatmate.  Well I say upset but it’s different than usual.  He’s generally a bit testy but this wasn’t like that at all.

I really was only joking, but his reaction was violent.  I spoke to our landlady but she thinks he’s just having one of his fits.  I don’t.  Any ideas?

Make him tea?

Good suggestion, but he won’t unlock his door for me.

Text him an apology? Is his phone with him in his room?
